Thanks to everyone who came to the show in 2015 - it was a lot of fun and I hope to be able to perform it again at some point in the future!

Matt Green:

Groom For Improvement

After years of being a boyfriend, Matt is now a husband and is not entirely sure what he thinks about that. Is “married life” actually any different? What are weddings really about? And is there ever a good time to use the word “Bridezilla”? (No.)

"Surprising that Matt Green isn’t more famous than he is. This show, roughly about the attitudes of a newly-married man in his mid-thirties to boyfriend-dom (Is that a word?), weddings, marriage and relationships in general is a carefully-constructed piece of expert stand-up... His timing never falters through lots of gags about the nonsense that goes on at weddings; about marriage as opposed to just coupledom; about sex, obviously; and also about life on the road as a comic.  He is adept at giving clever twists to ordinary and recognisable situations and is generally just great and enjoyable company to be in. Why someone as funny as this isn’t doing the Apollo, or having a Radio Four series of his own, is a bit of a mystery. Maybe one day. Let’s hope so." ★★★★ (from Bath Comedy Festival 2015)

“Really funny” ★★★★ (The Scotsman)
"Not only charming and affable but also disarmingly intelligent...A perfectly paced hour” ★★★★ (The List)
“Excellent audience interaction and intelligent observations...An hour of classic stand up expertly delivered" ★★★★ (Broadway Baby)
